A sea of red drowned out the Galaxy faithful at Dignity Health Sports Park as Toluca supporters turned the stadium into a fortress away from home. The visitors wasted no time, silencing the home crowd with an early clinical strike that set the tone for a one-sided affair. From that point on, the Galaxy looked shell-shocked and rudderless, unable to break down a disciplined Toluca side. With the victory, Toluca marches on to a high-stakes showdown against LAFC.
